The Biya Soccer4life for Under-16 boys drawn from the high-density suburbs of Gwabalanda, Luveve, Cowdary Park and Magwegwe North, is slated for December 22 at Gwabalanda’s Amakhosi stadium.
“We want to highlight the importance of education to these youngsters and I have a good working relationship with an American high school that has promised to offer scholarships to talented players to further their education in the USA,” said the former Bosso star.
Winners of the four-team tournament will receive money, medals, balls and soccer kits, according to the 34-year-old former Bosso star. “The tournament is part of my giving back to the community that provided me with a platform to showcase my talent. My aim is to take youngsters off the streets,” he said.
