Steven Saidi an O-Level teacher at the school has since been ordered not to report for duty at the school next year.
The story is familiar of past elections when teachers were viticmised across the country for reportedly siding with the MDC and “poisoning” the minds of students.
The youths have threatened him with an unspecified action if he ever sets his foot at the school again.
They also accused him of preaching the MDC-T" regime change" message to pupils a thing the teacher has vehemently denied.
"I was told to pack my bags within minutes and leave the school", said Saidi. "They are accusing me of supporting the MDC", he added.
MDC-T Masvingo Information Officer Honest Makanyire this week confirmed the development adding that victimisation of teachers in the area was increasing ahead of the next elections likely next year.
"The issue is that several teachers in the area are being victimised daily for supporting the MDC-T and the situation is worrisome.
"Saidi is being punished by the so called war veterans and Zanu (PF) youths for not supporting the party and we are saying people should have the right to support parties of their choice" added Makanyire.
Education officials in Masvingo this week professed ignorance on the issue.
Clara Dube Masvingo Provincial Education Director said no reports of that nature had reached her office.
"I have never heard of this and may be the report is still on its way to us", said Dube.
Meanwhile hundreds of disabled villagers in Bikita South constituency continue to sing the blues as food meant for then through the Department of Social Welfare is consistently grabbed by suspected war veterans and Zanu PF youths in the area who claim that they (disabled people) are not supporting president Robert Mugabe and his Zanu PF party.
Chairman of the disabled people in Bikita South constituency, Michael Chinyarike said they were on the verge of starvation as food aid meant for them has been consistently hijacked by Zanu (PF) supporters since the beginning of the year.
Chinyarike said most disabled people in the area were now surviving on begging because they have failed to access the government sourced food aid
“We are being denied food aid because we support the MDC formations”,said Chinyarike.
“We have tried to bring this to the attention of government officials but it appears nothing is being done to ensure that we get the much needed food”.
Chinyarike said like any other people disabled people also have big families to look after hence they cannot satisfy their needs through
begging.
