ZITF General Manager, Noma Ndlovu, told The Zimbabwean that the foreign exhibitors’ campaign was currently underway with international sales agents in Brazil, China, Germany, Pakistan and other European countries actively selling the exhibition.
In addition, Noma said, agencies in South Africa were also sourcing exhibitors in Angola, Ghana, Kenya, Netherlands, Nigeria and Zambia while agencies in Brazil had extended their territory to cover Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.
“Positive responses have been received so far from Brazilian industrial and business associations complemented by the APEX initiative that is communicating with a client base of over 5,000 contacts to ensure the widest possible reach in the Brazilian market. ZITF is also making in-roads in Argentina and Uruguay through the Exporters Association,” said Ndlovu.
On the local scene, Ndlovu said a considerable number of bookings had been received from Zimbabwean companies.
The Company has reserved over 60, 000 square metres of exhibition space for this year’s international trade fair which will be held from April 23 to 27 under the theme, “Building Value, Enhancing Growth.”
