The issue of condoms being given to schools and the re-enrollment of young mothers must be accepted in order to empower the girl child. The Ministry of Education must protect, promote and empower the girl child. – Obvious Benhura, Chikomba East

Female dropouts
EDITOR - One of the most worrying issues in the country’s schools is that of girl child dropouts. I think the Ministry of Education should put measures in place to protect this worrying trend. Most dropouts are due to early marriage and pregnancy. I think better education for girls is a necessity.
