Mugazambi hurt her neck, back and leg in the accident that happened as she was travelling from Chinhoyi. The accident left her with scars on her face and she also had to wear a neck collar. This made it impossible for the princess to be on the ramp and she had to abandon her street theatre career.
Mugazambi, who is employed by ZTA, has been concentrating on charity work while recovering from her injuries.
“I have been involved in charity work and the establishment of modeling clubs in schools. I have worked with Kuwadzana 2, Mabvuku and Ruzivo primary schools in Mufakosi where I was mentoring young girls in modelling,” said Mugazambi.
The princess said she was concentrating on photo shoots and advertising.
“I have already signed contracts with Edgars fashions and other companies that I cannot disclose at the moment,” she said.
Mugazambi told The Zimbabwean in an exclusive interview that, although the accident had temporarily disrupted her career, she was going to utilize the opportunities she had.
“The accident disrupted my career. I had dreams of growing in the industry and lifting the flag of Zimbabwe high but for a while I thought it would not be possible.”
Commenting on her acting career, Mugazambi said she was already working on a play called The accident, which is going to be showcased early this year.
“I have rejoined my drama group, Cheziya, and next February we will be showcasing a play,” she said.
