I have a cracked tooth that gives me problems each time I eat some food. Anything solid I eat ends up with some little pieces of it stuck in that tooth. Does flossing damage it and should I get it removed? – Tooth Fairy
Dear Tooth Fairy
Our teeth are special and should be treated with special care. You certainly should not get a tooth removed unless you absolutely have too. Flossing should not damage it – depending on how gently you are doing it. I would advise you to visit a dentist who will give you the best option. – Aunty Lisa
