However, the economic situation is crippled and it is a big obstruction to the dextrous, industrious youth, who now face a gloomy employment market. There is no consolation and no glimmer of hope.
Some youths now cross borders with a hope of securing employment opportunities in the diaspora. But the grass is not always greener.
These youths are faced with unfavourable recruitment procedures that disqualify their hard earned credentials. Out of desperation, these youths end up being jacks-of-all-trades. They are compelled to join the already saturated unskilled labour market where abuse by employers is common.
