DSTV Public Relations Manager Elizabeth Dziva said entries were now open to all contestants for the reality show scheduled for 26 May.
“People are free to nominate whoever they want of Zimbabwean nationality, aged between 21 and 35 years. The person should have a valid passport. Simply upload the picture of the person on our face book page, the person’s full name and state your reason for nominating the person.
“Voting will be carried out by liking on a picture which is transparent and fair, you can only like a picture once. One should get at least 10,000 likes to qualify in the final section will be done by a panel of judges,” she said.
The show runs for three months with a final prize of $300,000. Last year Maneta Mazanhi and urban groove sensation Rockford Josphats represented the country in Big Brother Stargame and were evicted for being violent.
Zimbabwean representatives Munya Chidzonga and Wendall Parson have flown the country’s flag high in the showcase.
Season 6 of the Big Brother Amplified was won by Nigerian Karen Igbo and Zimbabwe’s Wendall Parson. Last year the big prize was scooped by South Africa’s Keagan Petersen.
