INDUSTRIALS
The industrial index surged 0.19 points (0.10%) to close at 184.75 points. OK ZIMBABWE (OKZ.zw) gained 1.09 cents to 19.10 cents, LAFARGE (LACZ.zw) added a cent to 71 cents and NATFOODS (NTFD.zw) was up 0.89 cents to 141 cents. AICO AFRICA (AICO.zw) and COLCOM (COLC.zw) were 0.50 cents firmer at 11.50 cents and 26 cents respectively. CBZ (CBZ.zw) rose 0.39 cents to trade at 11.50 cents and DZLH (DZL.zw) pushed up 0.30 cents to settle at 23.50 cents.
The gains were offset by losses in OLD MUTUAL (OML.zw) and ZIMPLOW (ZIMW.zw) which shed a cent to close at 181 cents and 5 cents respectively. ASTRA (ASTR.zw) and MEIKLES (MEIK.zw) slipped 0.50 cents to trade at 5 cents and 21.50 cents respectively.
MININGS
The mining index was flat at 84.07 points. BINDURA (BIND.zw), FALGOLD (FALG.zw) HWANGE (HCCL.zw) and RIOZIM (RIOZ.zw) were unchanged at the previous trading level.
