No super rich from Zimbabwe

EDITOR - The December - January Forbes magazine talks of Africa’s richest people. It is sad to learn that the whole SADC region provides only two people Isabel from Angola and Saidi Bakhresa from Tanzania. Most rich people are from the crude oil producing countries. The Arabs in the north. Nigerians in the west and South Africa down here in the south. Kenya and Uganda also provided. Mo Ibrahim of Sudan was disqualified.

It is time to work hard and sacrifice especially for us in the diaspora. If others can swim in money what about us where is the difference? If you ask me about gold, copper, diamonds and platinum I will tell you that oil is money.

My question is how Nigeria accepts to be under poverty line in front of oil. Who is controlling your oil for you.it is not yet too late for tears. You can take what is in your country and use it. Look at Mugabe he did it single-handedly. How many Nigerians do we have? The population of Lagos alone is more than the population of Zimbabwe as a country.

Nigeria is China of Africa. Too many people but alas! Nobody understands the value of oil. Go to Mugabe before he dies and ask him how he managed to take his land back. Remember in every divorce you suffer losses so be prepared to negotiate. You cannot suffer it is not true. Look at Libya? What about you. Wake up Nigeria time is at work? They say in every prison there is definitely a Nigerian. Why do Nigerians accept to tarnish their image in front of oil? Is your oil a curse or something? Africa is too rich to be poor. – Yahaya Ali, Pretoria
