Band manager, Felix Matsikidze, said the idea to form a band of veterans was mooted after realising that most of today’s musicians rely too much on artificial and computerized genres.
Their thrust is to bring back the yesteryear flavour.
“Today‘s music is not appealing because the youngsters lack imagination. Live shows are now associated with pre-recorded songs from computers. Mature people have now stopped attending shows and this is why we decided to come up with this band,” said Matsikidze.
The band is currently working on its debut album but will also continue performing renditions of classic hits from all genres during live shows.
The Zimbabwean news crew last week witnessed the band performing at a local night club where fans where left clamouring for more. The band is fronted by George Zingani.
