“Chitsike was a founding member of the organisation and has been the Programme Manager for RAU’s Women’s Programme since 2006, driving the highly successful and productive programme to prevent political violence against women. Since obtaining her LLM degree from the University of Stellenbosch, Chitsike worked for Transparency International (Zimbabwe) for two years and then for Idasa from 2002 to 2005,” said RAU in a statement this week.
It said the change reflected a necessary generational shift and would accommodate an increasing focus on women and children.
