Amakhosi Director, Cont Mhlanga, told The Zimbabwean his organisation had engaged the Zimbabwe Theatre Association with the view to taking the programme to Gweru, Mutare, Harare and Masvingo.
“Our ultimate objective is to take this project to every town and city in the country. We want to build the theatre industry by ensuring that every play premiered at Amakhosi is replicated at other venues and vice versa,” he said. “We want young artists to showcase their works and get professional advice on how they can improve their works. We should have a proper calendar of events running throughout the year,” he said.
