“The title of my book means whatever hardship or problem you have is not permanent because your destiny can be changed by the choices you make,” Stephanie (26) told The Zimbabwean.
The book is composed of short stories and features the real life experiences of people Stephanie interviewed.
“In the book I give advice on how to conquer battles. It is a self- empowerment tool which is guaranteed to leave the readers inspired. The book is an extension of the person I am. I love to help and empower people,” she said.
She said her book was inspired by the courage and hard work of her parents.
“My mother raised me and my two siblings single-handedly and my father is one of the most hard working people I know,” she said.
Stephanie is the founder of Help Us Help Ourselves, a charity based in the UK. She was nominated Personality of the Year, for the Zimbabwe Achievers Award 2013.
She is currently studying for a degree in Public Health and is a qualified Clinical Psychologist and motivational speaker.
