The event was attended by various notable names in the industry, including the Mbare Trio, Dembo sons, Jabavu Drive, Sulumani Chimbetu and superstar Oliver Tuku Mtukudzi, the guest of honour.

“Anzwa Hama” is Nyabinde’s fourth album after his debut hit album “Pane Nyaya” (2002), “Ndiratidze” (2004) and “Teerera” in 2006. It is expected to cause waves in local music circles with its title track “Anzwa Hama”.

Nyabinde said he had been inspired by veteran musician Tuku and handed the star a guitar in honour of his iconic legacy.

“I am humbled by the presence of my music inspiration Oliver Mtukudzi and want to take this opportunity to hand over a guitar to you (Tuku) which you will use to tap more talent at PakarePaya Arts Centre,” he said as he handed over the guitar.
