Can the President do and say something

EDITOR - Can the President do something that can rest assure us that he mean it every time he speaks against violence. Instead of attacking the US ambassador he could have promised to investigate, hold everyone found guilt responsible and distance himself and his party from barbaric behaviour like that of the murder of the young Christpower Maiisiri.

How can the President sympathise with his party members who are accused of the crime and at the same time expect them desist from violence? Is this not what we always say that the President can indicate left when he mean to turn Wright?

How on earth can the President sympathise with his party rather than the family that lost its child?

Are we likely to see peaceful elections in Zimbabwe or its violence as usual when the President do not say a word when Jabulani Sibanda is going around armed and threatening people with violence and the following morning we hear things along the line of his message?

Doesn't the President have power and authority to tell his followers to sing and dance to his tune? So why then are we seeing conflicting things and he says nothing to correct the wrongs? Is what ever he says when given a platform just platform politics that will never be implemented? Then what should we expect and believe as concerned citizens?

The president must give orders to ministers and commissioners of law enforcing agents to do their duties he appointed them for or risk us and the world not to believe what ever he says in future.

We had high hopes thinking that we have reached a turning point where by we were going to see normals e coming back to our beloved Zimbabwe with everything done and lead by him, but to my amazement he is found wanting somewhere, some how.

Elders should be peace makers even where there is no hope for peace. Its not too late for our President, for all the ministers, Generals, commissioners, governors and the perpetrators of evil things can listen and obey him unless otherwise he want things the way they are going.
