Curtain closes on Big Brother

Auditions being held in Harare for shortlisted candidates to represent the country in the eighth edition of the Big Brother Africa end today. The organisers are searching for individuals who are passionate about BBA, entertaining, above 21 years of age, fluent in English and in possession of a valid Zimbabwean passport.

The show became popular among urbanites after Munyaradzi Chidzonga’s unfortunate exit landed him a whopping $300,000 from the local business community in 2010. In 2011Wendall Parsons brought the grand prize home after coming tops together with Nigerian housemate.

M-Net Africa managing director Biola Alabi hinted that there would be a huge surprise in the forthcoming season. “I can confirm that we’ve added a new element that will get the hearts of viewers racing. The fact that the fans truly adore the show is all the motivation we need to keep it fresh and fun!” he said.
