The Limpopo born musician-cum-disc jockey will be performing at the Midlands State University, National University of Science and Technology and the University of Zimbabwe.
“I have reached an agreement with these institutions and will be performing at functions that students are organising. I am going there to rock and students should brace themselves for fireworks,” she said.
Born Masingita Mageza, the performer is riding on the success of her debut offering, which features two up-and-coming Zimbabwean musicians, Fadzai Nyamukondiwa and Hazel Zivengwa.
Their collaboration is titled Fuku- Ndee, a controversial track that addresses social ills as prostitution and the danceable I’m Your Candy.
The disc jockey said she was excited to collaborate with the Zimbabwean songstresses.
“It has been a good experience. Particularly performing in Shona, which will make my music appealing to a larger audience,” said the 20-year-old, who has been billed as South Africa’s sexiest DJ.
Nyamukondiwa and Zivengwa will feature at the launch of their South African counterpart’s album launch in Johannesburg next month.
