The young starlet, discarded by Soweto giants, Kaizer Chiefs, without even kicking a ball in competitive matches, has been a revelation since he arrived at the Limpopo-based Lidoda Duvha, where he enjoys game time.
“With his current form, Amidu is unstoppable. He scores and create goals for his team-mates. He is not selfish and has shown us his unique qualities and capabilities. He is a great team player and that makes a very good footballer,” Chidzambga told The Zimbabwean. “When Amidu was shown the door at Kaizer Chiefs, everyone thought it was over for him, but today, he has worked his way up to become one of the most important players at Leopards. We are focused on retaining his services for next season. He seems to have a good understanding with everyone. His high work rate is ideal for the national team, where he is destined for great heights. Given time, he will prove me right and his combination with Knowledge Musona could be what the nation needs.”
