The industrial index declined by 0.02 points (0.01%) to 188.63 points. EDGARS (EDGR.zw) and ECONET (ECO.zw) shed a cent each to close at 12 cents and 64 cents respectively. FIDELITY LIFE (FIDL.zw) closed 0.50 cents lower at 12 cents whilst DZLH (DZL.zw) put off 0.05 cents to settle at 29 cents.
Gains were recorded on NMB (NMB.zw) which increased by 1.10 cents at 11.10 cents. HIPPO (HIPO.zw) and PPC (PPC.zw) picked up a cent each to settle at 111 cents and 210 cents respectively. MEIKLES (MEIK.zw) added 0.55 cents to close at 22.55 cents. TA HLDS (TAHO.zw) and TRUWORTHS (TRUW.zw) recovered 0.50 cents each to 8.50 cents and 5.50 cents respectively.
Week on week, the index gained 0.31 points (0.16%).
MININGS
The mining index was unchanged at 67.17 points. All counters, BINDURA (BIND.zw), HWANGE (HCCL.zw), FALGOLD (FALG.zw) and RIOZIM (RIOZ.zw), maintained previous trading levels.
