INDUSTRIALS
The industrial index pushed up 0.99 points (0.53%) to close at 186.18 points. HIPPO (HIPO.zw) advanced 5.49 cents to 119.99 cents, BAT (BAT.zw) gained 5 cents to 725 cents and OLD MUTUAL (OML.zw) was 2 cents firmer at 235 cents. DELTA (DLTA.zw) rose 1.20 cents to settle at 116.70 cents, DZLH (DZL.zw) traded 0.50 cents higher at 26 cents and TRUWORTHS (TRUW.zw) gained 0.25 cents to 4.50 cents.
However, PPC (PPC.zw) slipped 5 cents to 230 cents. SEEDCO (SEED.zw) shed a cent to 70 cents whilst ECONET (ECO.zw) and ZIMPLOW (ZIMW.zw) were down 0.50 cents each to trade at 68 cents and 4.50 cents respectively.
MININGS
The mining index gained 0.82 points (1.24%) to close at 66.81 points. RIOZIM (RIOZ.zw) added 2.10 cents to trade at 47.10 cents. BINDURA (BIND.zw), FALGOLD (FALG.zw) and HWANGE (HCCL.zw) were unchanged at previous trading levels.
