Communication made available to The Zimbabwean this week detailed Ncube’s attempt to address Dabengwa’s failed leadership when he was still serving as Bulawayo chairman. However, he was kicked out of the party because Dabengwa allegedly felt threatened. Ncube expressed his concern with the state of the party, the way the Bulawayo Province was being run and the lack of clear party programmes.
“The party is on its knees. Nothing is really functioning and it’s of major concern to some of us who have Zapu at heart,” said Ncube. “We have spent three years without a National Headquarters and this leaves people wondering where to find our leadership. This unhealthy environment has reduced the role of our Presidency to regional coordination.”
Ncube also highlighted that the non-functioning party had affected women and youths.
“We have failed to hold women and youth conferences as previously planned. This has had a negative impact on the growth of the party and we need to take measures to correct this situation,” added Ncube.

I happened to listen to Patrick Chinamasa on BBC/Hardtalk on his visit to UK, its unfortunate to hear that we still have people talking like that when the economy is in such a mess. When you are being interviewed
talk when its your turn than to behave the way he was responding to questions. The interviewer had done his home work and had all the information at his finger tips. Shame on him to be honest.
