Soul Brothers founder thrilled by Zim music

Top South African musician and keyboard specialist Moses Ngwenya is thrilled by Zimbabwean musicians and says they are putting pure African cultural music on the world map.

The founder of Soul Brothers mbaqanga star singled out Oliver Mtukudzi, Alick Macheso, Thomas Mapfumo, Lovemore Majayivana, Solomon Skuza and Black Mfolosi, saying: “I still follow those veteran musicians and one day it will fulfil my greatest ambition to tour with them all over and show the world the pure African talent they have.”

“The country must invest in their music as it is part of their heritage. In South Africa nowadays there are a lot of upcoming artists from our northern neighbour. They will be in the music industry for some time if they take music seriously and invest in it.

He thanked Zimbabweans for being supportive in the growth of his musical career.
