The Glamour Boys are on position eight on the table. They were let down by five draws they experienced from their six outings. It is last Sunday’s victory against Tripple B that has motivated DeMbare of collecting maximum points against an inform Zvishavane-based side.
“Winning on Sunday was a good stepping stone for us. I hope the players can be able to step up their game and win again today. Every point is important especially in the first half (of the season) to make sure that we start our campaign well,” said Dynamos coach, Kalisto Pasuwa.
F.C Platinum is enjoying life at the top of the log table after winning five of their six matches. They have only lost one match at the hands of Shabanie Mine and they are determined to burst the Glamour Boys’ burble at their backyard.
Platinum coach Tenant Chilumba said, “We are hoping to extend our wins and we know it is not going to be easy. We are playing against a team that is also hungry for points.”
Meanwhile, Chicken Inn hopes to utilise home ground advantage to collect maximum points when they host Caps United at Luveve stadium. Caps United are third on the log table with 12 points; just three points behind leaders F.C Platinum. This is much to the surprise of soccer fans who had predicted the team’s demise following the departure of one of the club directors Farai Jere, last year.
“They are showing great potential than I expected. I think it has been because they have young players who are eager to prove themselves and show that they have the talent despite not caring big names,” said Farai Gondoza.
