Mic Inity, whose real name is Mike Madamombe, recorded “Touch You There” and “Thank You Jah,” which feature on his second album set for release next month.
“My time in Jamaica improved my music greatly. I learnt a great deal,” he said.
The album, entitled “Just Reggae, My Journey”, carries eight reggae songs with “Touch You There” and “Raiders of the Arch” expected to cause a frenzy in the local music industry.
The conscious album follows up on Mic Inity’s debut album, “Freedom”.
The Marondera-based musician made his big break when he became the lead vocalist of top reggae band Transit Crew.
Together with Transit Crew, he had the opportunity to perform with Jamaican reggae stars Luciano and Mikey General. He was also onstage with the late Lucky Dube at the South African Macufe Festival in Bloemfontein.
