His sentiment follows recent calls for a grand political coalition that culminated in MDC-T, MDC-N, Mavambo Kusile Dawn, Zapu jointly addressing a press conference on the roadmap towards a credible poll.
“This is not about pride or grudges; we need people to understand that our common enemy is Zanu (PF),” said Bhebhe.
“It’s easy and progressive to fight as a united front; we cannot have a repeat of the scenario where votes were split like what happened in 2008. We have to work collectively towards a New Zimbabwe. I can assure you that my party is always open to work with any party interested in the country’s progress.”
Bhebhe said Zanu (PF) was hindering development in the country.
"Together, we have to remove Robert Mugabe and Zanu (PF) who are a stumbling block in the country’s development. We have witnessed him and his group crippling our country by stealing our resources. We have to get rid of them and welcome our party policy document which will give you jobs ad change the country for better and for good," said Bhebhe.
Meanwhile, Bhebhe also dismissed certain groupings and individuals calling for secession and backed devolution of power.
“We don’t want people talking tribalism at this stage and when we talk about devolution, people must know that is the best way forward for our country. We won’t tolerate calls for secession; that is not allowed in a normal environment. The world is trying to unite into one community and certain individuals are out confusing people, just be careful towards them,” said Bhebhe.
A grouping calling itself Mthwakazi has been agitating for the Matabeleland regions to split and form a separate state and recently threatened attacks on Zimbabwe.
Senior figures in Bhebhe’s Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) party including party leader, Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai, Deputy President, Thokozani Khuphe, Water Resources Minister Sam Sipepa Nkomo and Constitutional Affairs Minister Eric Matinenga have all backed devolution calls which are strong in the south-western parts of the country.
Bhebhe added that devolution of power would ensure local problems are tackled with local solutions instead of central government prescribing uniform policies for different communities.

That Mthwakazi movement is another ZanuPF machinery meant to strain relations between Zimbabweans and also suppress the MDC vote in Mathebeland by asking people not to vote in the next coming election.
