The Chabuda Hapana hitmaker joins the list of artists such as Sandra Ndebele, Tryson Chimbetu, Jah Prayzah and gospel diva, Fungisai Zvakavapano-Mashavave, who have pledged to enhance the visibility of NBSZ.
Gabriel Nkazana, the provincial NBSZ Chief Public Relations Officer, told The Zimbabwean that Nyabinde, the former headmaster of Chana primary school in Kwekwe, commands respect among youths and will therefore inspire young people to give blood.
“We are currently working in schools to encourage pupils to give blood. So, taking along Nyabinde, who has a background in education, will make our cause a major success,” said Nkazana.
Nyabinde serenaded attendants who gathered at Progress College in the city for the provincial World Blood Donor Day commemorations with his comic jazz music verses. He spoke at length about his new role and how he hopes to inspire the youth to participate.
