Mashiri claims that a National Council meeting was held at which some resolutions were taken including the resolution to remove Mutambara and the Party’s remaining Members of Parliament. This is shamelessly untrue and Mashiri is aware that he is lying through his front teeth. No such meeting ever took place.
We are aware that both Robson Mashiri and Jourbert Mudzumwe are hobnobbing with some political outfit, who incidentally are their funders. It is their democratic right to join a party of their choice and we can only wish them well. They should however not mislead the nation including their funders into believing that they have the capacity to take everyone from MDC-M with them to their perceived new home.
MDC-M remains intact and solid and is busy on the ground preparing for the forth-coming elections.
