The recording contract was part of the winners’ package, in addition to the $5,000 cheque. The album was recorded at Gramma Records from May 20 to 26.
The group’s front man, TelsonMigi, said: “We have completed the recording of our album, which is due at the end of June”.
Migi added that they were planning to launch the album in Harare. The seven member Afro-jazz outfit’s album carries songs such as HuworiUroyi, which looks at the effect of the cancer of corruption on society. There are also tracks such as Magumo, Ndiregererewo and Kwaita.
