They are coming to Zimbabwe courtesy of Pro Helvetia, the public foundation of Switzerland and Swiss Development Corporation.
“Their visit comes at a time when the twinned cities of Bulawayo and Durban are strengthening cultural ties. For years Zimbabwean artists have been going to Durban for cultural exchanges. This year Bulawayo is hosting them,” said Festival Director, Raisedon Baya.
Omphile was recently at Harare International Festival of Arts where he brought the house down with his one man play, Itsoseng. Flatfoot Dance Company will be in the country for the first time. Among their most popular works is the contemporary dance production, Last Thoughts.
