The case was heard today in chambers. In its court application, the MDC-T alleged that the number of officers for the special voting system had been inflated.
The MDC-T application cited the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission, Co-ministers of Home Affairs, Theresa Makone and Kembo Mohadi, police Commissioner General, Augustine Chihuri, Finance Minister, Tendai Biti as first, second, third and fourth respondents respectively.
The MDC-T argued that the 69, 000 police officers taking part in the special voting system were way above the 44 133 officers shown on Treasury’s payroll.
Tsvangirai’s lawyer, Harrison Nkomo confirmed the development to The Zimbabwean. “The application has been dismissed with costs and the Judge said that reasons for the judgement are to follow,” said Nkomo.

what did you expect, I hope the honourable Judge President has a night job because he is not going to keep his day job making poor judgements…
Like I said the other day. What would we expect from Chiweshe the man who withheld the Presidential results for 6 weeks.
It’s amazing that this zpf fool can get away with this. Even an uneducated moron can see the numbers are wrong. This id a flagrant breach of the law by a so called zpf judge.
