Madhibha told The Zimbabwean that raising funds for her trip was not easy.
“I am not giving up on my dream, therefore I have decided to start from the ground until I reach the top,” she said.
Besides being a professional model, Madhibha is also a qualified hairstylist.
The Director of the Zimbabwe National Association of the Deaf, Christina Sithole, said she was doing everything she could to raise money for Madhibha.
“We have been sending out letters to different organisations, but it appears people have no money,” she said.
ZIMNAD is a non-governmental organisation that strives to empower people with hearing impairments to acquire knowledge and practical skills.
