The “Taura Naye” hitmaker denounced the two musicians on the popular social network site, Facebook.
“Diana Samkange and Alexio Kawara are sell outs. They sold the struggle for a few pieces of silver,” charged the Kwekwe-bred musician.
The public attack follows Samkange’s break from 2BGlongback to release an afro-jazz album in February this year titled “Kumazivandadzoka”.
She said she decided to prioritize the Afro-jazz beat on her new album to reach out to new audiences.
Alexio is now singing with his Afro-jazz outfit The Shades of Black but originally made his name as an urban groover.
Just like Samkange, Alexio said the switch was a conscious decision to appeal to a more mature audience.
