Bottled water manufacturer, Aqua Crystal’s certification has also been suspended by the Association, following investigations to determine whether bottled water quality conformed to certain standards. SAZ indicated that it would continue to monitor the quality of bottled water and has increased its surveillance audits.
2013 has so far seen 33 companies being approved by SAZ for management systems certification. Notable companies that have been certified include Tobacco Processors Zimbabwe, Astra Paints Harare, Unilever Zimbabwe and Zimphos.
