
Most of the voters said they were not sure if they were going to be able to cast their vote within the allocated two day period.
One police officer, who was waiting for his turn to cast his vote said: "The way the process is slow makes it look like we are not going to vote."
Some of the officers could be seen leaving the polling station, citing fatigue.
"I have been sitting here the whole morning and I am tired," said one female officer.
Voting at the centre was temporarily stopped after it emerged that there were no more envelops for people to cast their ballot.
Information gathered from one of the Zimbabwe Election Commission officials at the centre revealed that the Southern Africa Development Community observers had visited the centre around 10 am.
He said: "Yes, the team was here. We had three officials and they left after about an hour."
