
"Most people from ward 3 are coming here but we are referring them back to their correct ward," he said.
74-year-old, Kaliva Mukwezenji Siriwe was one of those told that she was not eligible to vote in this constituency.
"I have been to at least five wards since 7 am and none of them is telling me where i should go and vote. They are all telling me that I cannot vote but I registered," said a visibly disgruntled Siriwe.
Asked if she voted in previous elections, Siriwe said: "No. My identity document said I am an alien, but I have since rectified that. I do not know why I cannot vote."
By 8:20 am, at least four SADC observers had visted the centre, spending five minutes there.
There was a long winding queue and the pace was very slow especially when a voter's name could not be found in the manual voters' roll.
