“Sibanda’s sports bar has now been declared a no go area until after the elections. Anyone who is seen patronizing the place will be in serious trouble. The ban was communicated at a special parade where recruits were told to vote for Zanu (PF),” said one police source at the depot, who refused to be named for fear of victimisation.
Sibanda‘s sports bar is a stone’s throw away from the training depot. The police source said officers were now forced to drink in places further afield.
