Chunga warns players

Moses Chunga has warned his players at ZIFA Eastern Region Division One football side, Hippo Valley, to guard against complacency as they bid to win the league and gain promotion to the topflight.

Hippo Valley, with an array of former PSL players, are at the summit of the log standings with 40 points, 10 adrift of fierce rivals, Mutare City Rovers who occupy the second position.

In an interview last week, Chunga said all would be well if his players remained focused and did not allow complacency to creep into their minds.

The second phase of the season kicks off this weekend, with Hippo Valley going for a clash with Southdowns at Chishamiso Stadium in Chiredzi.

Mutare City Rovers will on the same cross swords with crosstown rivals, Mutare Polytechnic in a potentially explosive derby at Sakubva Stadium.
