From the terraces with Lisa Dube

Warriors

Our performances have neither been good nor consistent recently, but I believe we have what it takes to win this CHAN. Ian Gorowa will adjust to knowing his players very well soon. We just need to be patient with him, otherwise no other coach would agree to take up the post next time if we develop this syndrome of criticising just for the sake of it. Let’s give him time. –Hillary Mufarisi, Avondale.

For our national football team to perform well, I think we need a complete clean-up in the way the game is run. Who knows what Cuthbert Dube and his gang are doing behind closed doors at ZIFA? I know definitely it’s not anything to do with progress and success because we have not seen any of that since they assumed office. They have been going on and on about how Henrietta Rushwaya and her thieves went on an Asiagate spree, but not how they can improve the situation. We need administrators who are serious. –Jim Kwazvose, Chitungwiza.

Harare City

Anyone who will take Harare City for granted this year will cry foul at the end of the season. Those boys are good and they are determined to win the championship this season. Anyone who still remembers how Monomotapa won it in 2008 and how Gunners and Motor Action rose to become Champions? I have a strong feeling that this year it is going to be Harare City. –Paul Muringisi, Marondera.

Caps United

The Green Machine will rise to grace this year. We could see some smiling and laughing faces last year when things were not good for us, but all those who hate us should accept that we are in the topflight league to stay. Relegation is just not for us. It will never happen! –Tawanda Mapura, Bindura.

Dynamos

It is always a good feeling when DeMbare beat Highlanders. I am looking forward to that clash. Zora Butter. –Aaron Mutambanengwe, Mufakose.
