Hope is alive

EDITOR - The injustice of a seemingly stolen vote and the depression, disappointment and darkness that now fills our streets is tangible hopelessness.

Most Zimbabweans now feel condemned to, at a minimum, five more years of corruption, state-sponsored bullying and poverty. But why have we placed our hopes on a man, or pinned our desires to a system?

Where is our God in the despair of this hour – though we cried out for freedom, He did not answer – His ways are higher than ours! Wait patiently Nation Builders, remain peaceful, here is your God.

The Lord of Angel Armies is a God of love His delight is in the hearts of the righteous – take courage, wait on Him, He is our Hope.

You are more than you feel today – we are chosen of God, His beloved, receive His anointing and be filled with the fruits of the Spirit. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith and self-control – here is your God. – Hopeful, Nyanga
