The FC Platinum striker, who was also on the wanted list of Cape Town-based First Division side, Chippa United, was early this week expected to arrive at United for a medical.
Should he pass the medical, he would sign a three-year contract with Matsantsantsa a Pitori, who already have another Zimbabwean striker, Simba Sithole in their ranks.
“He should be arriving in South Africa in the next few days, but he is not coming for trials. He is only coming here to undergo a medical check-up because we are already impressed by what we saw in him,” said a source within the Pretoria-based former PSL champions.
The FC Platinum gunman remains hot property throughout last season, when he scored 18 goals for Shabanie Mine on loan, resulting in him courting interest from Chippa and Lamontville Golden Arrows.
He also made the list for last season’s soccer stars of the year, after he put up the impressive performance, before he was pulled back to his club.Post published in: Football
