ZANU PF activists also went around the shopping centre intimidating any one perceived to be an MDC supporter, telling them to surrender their regalia and join Robert Mugabe’s party.
In protest, there was a demonstration in Bindura on Sunday, where one resident said “We are not going to surrender any political space. If they won like they claim why do they need to force us to join them. According to the constitution we all have rights to join any political formation we want.”
In a further incident of alleged ZANU PF violence we also received a report saying houses belonging to the MDC-T council candidate and polling agents in Mvurwi were burned down on Saturday night.
We were unable to get any further information on this incident. – SW Radio Africa News
