The heads of 23 families accused of invading the farm appeared before Bulawayo magistrates Willard Maphios Moyo and Themba Chimiso who remanded them out of custody to September this year. They face charges of parcelling out plots to one other and building permanent structures on the property.

Police evict land invaders
Police last week evicted a group of Zanu (PF) supporters who invaded Advocate Lot Senda’s Bidminton farm along the Bulawayo-Victoria Falls road shortly before the recent elections. Some of the squatters have already been arrested and appeared in court on charges of trespassing.
