Gift Kambarami, a sculptor and abstract artist, said he was ready to show the world what Zimbabwean artists were capable of.

“The UNWTO is a perfect opportunity for me to sell and market my products to the world. For the past four months, I have been preparing my products for the assembly,” said Kambarami.

The artist has been involved in sculpturing since 1994. He appealed to the government and other stakeholders to support artists during and after the world event.

“You cannot separate arts and tourism. As artists we are appealing to the government to assist us to transport our wares to the summit venue as well as market our products to the tourists and delegates who will be coming for the event.
