In an interview with The Zimbabwean, ZCTU Secretary General, Japhet Moyo, described the election outcome as a sham and said another economic crisis was likely as Zanu (PF) programmes like indigenisation have been seen to be hurting the economy.
“Winning an election by hook and crook and then running the country in terms of being able to provide good service delivery and good governance are two different things. In terms of whether there will be changes or improvements to our lives, we do not see Zanu (PF) doing that.
“There is nothing to suggest that they are going to turn the economy of this country around. Now they are hinting on retaining the Zimbabwean dollar and grabbing companies so where exactly are we heading to,” said Moyo.
