Sources at the Zanu (PF) Harare provincial headquarters in Harare told The Zimbabwean that party supporters have been ordered to stop celebrations until presidential results are announced.
“All provinces have been urged to order party supporters to delay celebrations until presidential results are announced,” said the source who spoke on condition of anonymity.
“Presidential results are likely to be announced today or tomorrow and it is obvious that Bob (Mugabe) is winning, so we should celebrate as a team,” added the source.
Efforts to get comments from Zanu (PF) spokesperson, Rugare Gumbo, and the party’s Harare Provincial Chairperson, Amos Midzi, were fruitless as their mobiles went answered.
