How compliant is Zimbabwe's 2013 harmonised elections with SADC principles & guidelines

From our assessment of the 31 July 2013 harmonized election using a Matrix with 15 Principles/Guidelines drawn from the SADC Principles and Guidelines Governing Democratic Elections.

We share with you this Matrix just after the chair of the SADC Election Observer Mission (SEOM) to the Zimbabwe election recently issued a summary statement concluding that the harmonised election was "generally credible and reflected the will of the people of Zimbabwe", a conclusion we have found to be fundamentally flawed and therefore unacceptable.
