Now popularly referred to as Baba Sharo, he has staged a series of top drawer performances to introduce some tracks from his forthcoming album, set to be released this month.
Songs such as “Ane Bhora” and “KurooraInyasha” have been receiving overwhelming response from his vast legion of fans impatiently waiting for the release date.
This has been coupled by some spirited performances by the new look Orchestra Mberikwazvo. Band manager William Tsandukwa said the release of the album would boost the morale of the new outfit.
Macheso, who was abandoned by his key members Jonasi Kasamba, Noel Nyazanda, Obert Gomba and Franco “Slomo” Dhaka, has since regained his dominion. Besides taking on board competent band members, he has unleashed a new dance called “Dhayamani” and is set to release his highly anticipated new project.
This has been cited as a move to silence his critics, who were celebrating his downfall following his poorly received album Kwatakabva Mitunhu (Kure Kwekure).

Music is about entertainment not about competition, though some musician think its about competition but at the end fans have already their thoughts so i urge fans to just like music as it is rather comparing musicians else other musician will not grow.
