“At the moment I’m training on my own. I have finally decided I should move away from Sundowns facilities because I am no longer in their books,” said Mtizwa early this week. “It is a bit difficult for me to find a new club now because the transfer window has closed, but I will have to keep myself focused and in good shape till the next transfer window opens.”
The player struggled to get game time when he was signed by Sundowns a few seasons ago and injuries kept him out of competition for months, before he was loaned to the Downs’ cross-town rivals, Pretoria University, where he rediscovered his form last season.
