Musona will come good: Coach

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Stuart Baxter has expressed confidence that tear-away Zimbabwe international Knowledge Musona will soon rediscover his scoring touch.

Although he has shown his brilliant touch of old, contributing to Chiefs’ goals this season, the “Smiling Assassin” is yet to open his league account for defending Absa Premiership champions, Kaizer Chiefs. He created the penalty that saved Chiefs the blushes in a midweek league match against cross-town rivals, Moroka Swallows, as the Naturena giants rallied to a 1-1 draw and was at hand to create another penalty when Chiefs lost 1-3 away at SuperSport United at the weekend.

Baxter drew inspiration from the fact that Musona was at his devastating best on Tuesday evening, coming agonisingly close on several occasions, especially on the half-hour mark when he combined well with Bernard Parker to constantly stretch the Swallows defence. “Knowledge gets himself into very good positions and I have no doubt that he will come good and find that calm finish,” said Baxter.
